Amiya Bhushan Majumdar,
an offbeat novelist. Creator of a unique kind of novel by using a Bengali which was his own creation. Recipient of Sahitya Academy Award (Govt. of India) Bankim Purashkar (Govt. of West Bengal) D Lit from more than one university and Sarat Purashkar (a medal) from Calcutta University and innumerable smaller awards and felicitations.
