Marie Killick, 49
English studio Engineer inventor of a sound reproducing stylus manufactured under the trade name of Sapphox and protected by Letters Patent 606309 granted in 1945 - lapsed for a period (1950-1953) reinstated late 1953. Pye Radio sued for infringement of Letters Patent. Judgement awarded in Marie Killick's favour in 1957 Pye appealed but the Appeal Court upheld the lower court's judgement in Marie's favour.
