A brilliant humorist Shein wrote for the National Lampoon produced several experimental one act plays contained within Theatrical Exhibitions including Rex Morgan M.D. (Pulp Press Vancuver BC) and with Kenneth Klonsky one full length play Taking Steam produced by the Jewish Repertory Theater of New York (1983) and the Leah Posluns in Toronto.
