Marlo Morgan American writer

Hello, I was able to finally the book Mutant Message because I had a forced "Time Out" due to a broken femur on May 18th. I am in amazement at Marlo's experience and subsequent spiritual insights she shared because of learning from her time in the Australian bush with her amzaing friends. I am sorry to hear that there has been so much controversy around her book and that certain people have even claimed her experience to be a hoax. I understand her need to share the deep messages of her walkabout and yet wonder about the controversy and backlash her book received. Curious that she received such a knockdown, even from people of different Aborignial tribes.I found the book to beautifully share and completely honour and respect the depth of knowledge and culture (scientific, anthropological, spiritual, etc...)of the people she traveled with gave to her. I am guessing this invaluable experience she was gifted to go through is met with jealousy by others who claim to scientifically 'know' the aboriginal culture and people as well as embarrassment by people who might not feel that her 'experience' is favorable and diminishes the people rather than lifts them up. (I laugh at this notion because I have such a different perspect as I have now lived/taught in Western culture for over 25 years and still find so many inadequacies in comparison to those ideals and beliefs I learned in Africa. I too, have made deep friendships with people of other cultures and felt that my learning time was constantly interrupted due to my ex husband's need to 'move on' to the next thing for him. Because I believe so much in things that differ from the American westernized culture, I was drawn to reading this book while in bed healing right now. I am truly enjoying the wisdom that she received and it lines up with much that I learned in Africa. If possibile, I would like to meet Marlo Morgan and have tea with her. I wish to do so for no monetary or publicity gain, only to verify and hear more of her experience and change in life she went through.
