Martyn Finlay New Zealand politician

I knew Martyn when I was a child. His daughters Mary and Sarah went the same boarding school, Saint Anne's, as me. Sarah was my best friend and I absolutely adored her. My Mother June Brown and my stepfather Barry Brown (both deceased) became friends with her parents. Sadly Sarah died in tragic circumstances many years ago, which I only recently confirmed. I should have tried to reach out to her earlier but I didn't know how. Peggy, her mum, reached out to me one time but as I'd just had surgery to remove a badly infected and necrotic kidney, my grandmother dying the same day, then shortly after these two momentous events, finding out that an old boyfriend had passed away from epilepsy, which he'd kept secret from me and the army where we met, it was too difficult. It's something I deeply regret. If you happen to read this and you loved Sarah, I just want you to know that my love for her is undying. Mary, if you read this and wish to contact me that would be great, if not I understand. Sometimes things can be too painful to dwell on or return to. As Sarah I used to shout; The Beatles rock!
