My grandfather “Patsy” was a hard working mortician and politician as I witnessed a young kid growing up and living in the funeral home on Washington Street in Lynn, Ma. 
In running for political offices he never gave up until he won the election for Mayor of Lynn. He was relentless at gaining a position in politics to serve the people of his community. He never took no for an answer and always fought the higher ups for what he thought was right. Just because he was Italian and owned a funeral home doesn’t mean he was connected to the mob. People who make those claims about him are narrow minded and watch too much tv, like the Sapranos and Good Fellas. I am very proud to be from Lynn and have “Grammy Pat” as my grandfather.
