Happy Birthday Rocio !! My name is Jim Berner, Minneapolis MN. 612-869-9004 I have an oil painting which I purchased in 1972. to view mural please copy and paste to: www.jimberner.com/Spanish.htm The painting (1920-1925) I believe to be of the family of Fernando and Miguel Primo de Rivera at a family gathering. All members of the family appear to be accounted for. The painting has been in my office for the past 50 years. I received the painting from the widow of the previous owner who past away in 1955. The widow said her husband obtained it in the 1940's but didn't know from where . Currently I am 79 years old and I would like to find a proper home for the mural. I am contacting you in hopes that maybe you or someone else might be able to help me find more information about the painting. The artist is unknown -- a lower ragged part of the painting was trimmed off back in 1972. An individual from the Minneapolis Institute of Arts looked at it and said the canvas and paint corresponds to that time period but without a signature he could not make any judgements. Since the 1940s this painting has never been seen in public other the what I have posted on the website. The painting measures approx. 1.8288 meters x 2.7432 meters. The mural is in very good condition and well cared for for the past fifty years. If you have any information or know of who the artist might be, please contact me.
