Please note that several things entered about my father, Thomas Scrymsoure Steuart Fothringham, are not right.  He was born on 5th April 1907; he died on 9th September 1979, aged 72.  He married Carola Mary Noel (born 3rd June 1916; she died 11th March 1989) on 26th April 1936.  They had three sons, not two: 1) Robert, born 1937; 2) Walter, born 1939; Henry (that's me), born 1944.
